Short version: no accounts, no emails, no names. We don't sell anything about you.
- No sign-up. You connect a wallet. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- The blockchain is public. Your wallet address, bets, results and nickname are stored on a public blockchain. Anyone can see them, and they can't be deleted. This is how blockchains work, not something we control.
- Stored in your browser. Your browser keeps a few things locally: your secret flip seeds until a flip finishes, your settings (like sound on/off), and, if you use the in-app balance, your session key. They stay on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them (finish open bets first). Each Flip bet also carries a locked copy of its seed, which our server opens to give you a bet ticket. We don't keep it.
- Points, invites and leaderboards. To run points and invite codes we keep a small database record per wallet address: your points, your invite code, who invited you, and a signed message when you pick a code or accept an invite (a free signature, no payment). Leaderboards and profile pages are public and show a wallet's nickname or invite code, rank and play stats that already come from the public blockchain. We do not link wallets to real-world identities. Your inviter is also saved on the public blockchain with your first bet, and pond vault deposits and withdrawals are public on the chain like every bet.
- Basic usage stats. We count page visits in a privacy-friendly way, with no cookies and no tracking across other sites, to see what's used and what breaks.
- Network providers. To read and send blockchain data, your browser talks to blockchain network services (RPC nodes). Like any website, they can see your IP address.
- Cookies. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Children. Frog Flip is not for anyone under 18.
- Changes. We may update this page. The date at the top shows the latest version.
